Wonder how WARP succeeds in the quality control of all cross-docks we partner with?
Here is how we make it with 4 easy steps:
Step 1 - Meet the People: We schedule a 30-minute intro with our cross-dock partners to go over the SLA (Service Level Agreement) and understand the operation procedures. We make sure that we are working with responsible teams at the first step.
Step 2 - Information Verification: After setting shared goals, we request and verify the following information for every cross-dock partner:
Facility Information
- Warehouse Address
- Hours of Operation
- Number of Dock Doors
- Number of Ramps
- Pick-up & Delivery Instructions for Drivers
Personnel
- Primary & Secondary Contact for the Warehouse (Names, Emails, Phone Numbers)
- Personnel who will need login credentials (Names, Emails, Phone Numbers)
Documentation
- Certifications (HAZMAT, etc.)
- W9- General COI for the facility
- Banking Details (Routing & Account Numbers)
Step 3 - Hands on Training: Once the information is verified, we first set up another 30-45-minute training call to ensure the technical pieces are properly implemented in every facility. We will then have three in-person training sessions to ensure WARP technology standards are within compliance.
Step 4 - Onboarding Facilitation & Long-term Support: We set up a Slack channel for each facility and offer additional training via FaceTime on the first inbound/outbound to ensure service quality. We are always available through this channel if our partner has any more questions in the future.
