WARP's Reduced Packaging Needs and Sustainability

Optimize and conserve.

More direct routes = reduced packaging material needs.

By bypassing LTL terminals and parcel sort centers, WARP reduces the need for excessive packaging, as shipments are handled fewer times and travel more direct routes. This streamlined approach not only lowers the environmental impact but also minimizes the amount of packaging material required, further contributing to sustainability. By reducing the handling and number of touchpoints in the shipping process, shipments go through less wear and tear, which decreases the need for excessive protective packaging.

In the case of temperature-controlled shipping, decrease the reliance on dry ice used for maintaining low temps throughout ambient sort centers/terminal consolidation stops. Dry ice has a significant environmental impact as it sublimates into carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas. Less packaging waste + fewer trucks and stops required per trip for deploying a provider like WARP.

Our Middle mile route optimization isn’t just about speeding up delivery time; it’s about creating greener and more sustainable logistics, reducing costs, lowering emissions, and enhancing last-mile delivery efficiency.

Dynamic routing optimizes each delivery route for higher density, allowing more stops in a shorter time frame, reducing miles traveled, and enhancing resource efficiency. Fewer vehicles are used due to dynamic routing, which lowers traffic congestion and emissions.
